Crosman hosts Northeast Regional Field Target Championship – Members of the United States and Venezuelan national field target teams and other top shooters are at Crosman Corp. headquarters this weekend for the Northeast Regional Field Target Championship. “This is our fourth year hosting the event,” Crosman shooting services manager Mark DeBoard said. “The first year we had 60 shooters and now we’re pushing 90.” The air rifle event takes place Saturday and Sunday with each competitor taking 60 shots per day. Field target requires shooters to knock down steel targets set at distances ranging from 15 to 50 yards. Those with the highest number of hits will be named winners. Divisions and classes are based on the air gun and support equipment used by shooters.
