Feiner calls for state regulation of gun ranges – Following the discovery of bullets outside the now closed Westchester County Police Revolver and Rifle Range in Greenburgh, Town Supervisor Paul Feiner has called for state or federal regulation of gun ranges.  The issue came to the surface for Feiner when it was confirmed that a local woman had metal fragments from a bullet on her knee.  “We found multiple bullets outside the range area. If the state would send inspectors to take a look, it would increase safety and the state could work with gun ranges to make sure than an accident won’t happen,” he said. “Without regulations, it is only a matter of time before somebody is injured or before there is a fatality.”
