Galway junior rifle team prepares to compete nationally – “It takes an incredible amount of self discipline and concentration to really get good at it,” said Coach Chuck Boykin.  The teens on the junior rifle team range in age from 12 to 18.  “Shooting is a very mental sport. It’s 90 percent mental, ten percent physical,” Logan Ogden said.  It’s that intense focus that has Logan Ogden, 14, and Breanna Flint, 18, preparing for the National Junior Olympics in Colorado Springs this week.  “One target has ten bulls and you can get ten points on each bull. You want to try to hit that little tiny dot in the center to get a ten,” Ogden said.  Last year’s Junior Olympics winner in Logan’s category received a score of 576 out of 600.
