Gunowners stand tall on Second Amendment – Although many of the more than 1,000 sportsmen and sportswomen gathered in the “Well” of the Legislative Office Building in Albany Tuesday commented on the fantastic weather we’ve been enjoying throughout most of the month, it was the third annual Sportsmen and Outdoor Recreation Legislative Awareness Day that actually brought them there.  Arriving from Babylon, Buffalo and everywhere in between to support their Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms and, in a symbolic show of unity, tell anti-gun legislators — the vast majority of whom are downstate democrats — they are fed up being looked upon as terrorists just because they own a gun for recreational purposes and/or protection.
