You need JavaScript enabled to view it have introduced a resolution calling upon the state legislature to increase from 500' to 1000' the no firearms discharge law for hunting and shooting within the county. This is in response to the opening up of big game rifle hunting within the county.

As of 12/9/11 no bill has been pre-filed in Albany.  County gun owners are encouraged to contact both their county and state representatives in opposition to this resolution.
