NYSRPA affiliated clubs feature a wide variety of pistol activities including International, Bullseye, IPSC, and Steel plates. Many of these clubs also feature NRA registered matches in these various disciplines.

NYSRPA currently sponsors the NYS Championships in Conventional Bullseye (both indoor and outdoor) at the National Shooting Championships at Camp Perry, Ohio. Individual NYSRPA members may apply to the team each year by filling out an application available in the March and May issues of The Bullet.   Team members must be members of NYSRPA.

NYSRPA also works with the Police Combat Association to offer Police Combat Shoots.
