Legislators eye North Fork park site for new county trap and skeet range location – A proposed new county park in Northville would be an ideal place to relocate the county’s trap and skeet range, according to Suffolk County Legislator Kate Browning (WF-Shirley), whose Third Legislative District hosts the county’s current trap and skeet range in Yaphank.  Browning wants the trap and skeet range moved and she thinks the 180-acre county park now being planned for a portion of the North Fork Preserve property would be an ideal spot.
