Montgomery County opposes SAFE Act – The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors passed a resolution at the end of April opposing Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s sweeping gun control legislation.  The board passed a resolution claiming they were assaulted by a “pen.” “A copy of the resolution is available below.  “The New York Safe Act does not increase the protection and safety of the public, and is [unnecessarily] burdensome to residents of New York State both financially and ethically,” reads the resolution, which spells unnecessarily wrong.
