NYC website seeking local pistol permit records – A New York City-based website has requested information on pistol permit holders in at least three local counties, including Livingston. Officials in Livingston, Wyoming and Genesee counties have confirmed they were contacted by a group called Heavy.com. A similar request occurred in Orleans counties, although officials did not say where it originated. No information was released, due to a 120-day moratorium on such disclosures, established as part of the NY SAFE Act.
