Since 1871, our organization has been dedicated to the preservation of Second Amendment rights, firearm safety, education and training, and the shooting sports. Buyer beware on ‘SAFE compliant’ guns – Gun parts manufacturers and gun enthusiasts have been attempting to comply with the NY-SAFE Act by altering the features of their AR-15-style weapons. Livingston County wants no role in state’s SAFE Act mailings – The Livingston County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution Wednesday opposing the state’s use of the county seal on any correspondence related to the New York SAFE Act sent to pistol permit holders.
