Putnam mom to deliver petition supporting NY SAFE Act – While a Cold Spring mother was unnerved to receive an anonymous call questioning her support for the state’s new gun-reform act, she still plans to deliver a petition this week to members of the Putnam County Legislature who passed a resolution against the law.  Alexandra Dubroff said she received a call Monday afternoon from an unidentified man who, while polite, strongly encouraged her to change her position.  “To be honest, it is disconcerting,” she said. “I feel like they are trying to bully me.”
