Sen. Kathy Marchione files bill to repeal Gov. Cuomo’s gun law amid huge Albany protest – Sen. Kathy Marchione, R-Halfmoon, filed a bill to repeal Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s gun law Thursday as an estimated 5,000 protesters rallied outside the Capitol to condemn the measure as government tyranny.  “Your governor is willing to sacrifice the Constitution, your rights as citizens and the prerogatives of his Legislature on the altar of his own ambition and the ego of Mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York City,” National Rifle Association President David Keene told the crowd.
