Suffolk Co. Legislator Kate Browning is going to try and get the Parks Committee to pass a resolution IR-1313-2013 which would immediately close the Trap & Skeet Range. The next committee meeting is set for 12:00pm Wednesday May 1 at the Hauppauge Legislative Auditorium, W.H. Rogers Legislature Building, 725 Veterans Memorial Highway, Smithtown. Gun owners are encouraged to attend. The meeting starts promptly at noon so it is important to arrive a little early to sign up in order to speak before the committee.
