‘Don’t Drink And Carry A Gun,’ Vallone’s Proposed Law Says — Applying the “when you drink, don’t drive” dictum to gun possession, a bill that seeks to prohibit people from carrying guns while under the influence of drugs or alcohol has been introduced by City Councilmember Peter Vallone Jr. and Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
