Award-winning ‘Women in Nature’ program set for April 25 at F-M Rod and Gun Club – The Onondaga County Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs has scheduled its 9th annual “Women in Nature” program for April 25 at the Fayetteville-Manlius Rod and Gun Club.  The award-winning program is a free, day-long series of workshops for women focusing on introductory outdoor skills.  This year’s event is featuring 22 different mini-courses. Each participant will be allowed to sign up for four courses.  The scheduled course list includes ax throwing, beginning archery, birding basics, black powder, campfire cooking, canoeing skills, crossbow basics, deer hunting, fishing 101, flyfishing, gun cleaning and introduction to firearms.
