Big-game hunting law rejected by Ontario County supervisors — The long-discussed resolution that would have allowed rifle hunting for big game south of Routes 5 and 20 was defeated at an Ontario County Board of Supervisors meeting Thursday night. In its third time before the board since 2009, the measure fell by a weighted vote of 2,157 to 1,615.
