Greenburgh shooting range targeted for shutdown

Greenburgh shooting range targeted for shutdown – Town officials and residents are calling for the closure of a private gun range after a bullet fragment hit a woman in the leg in the backyard of a neighboring home last month.  Town Supervisor Paul Feiner said he doesn’t think the gun range, run by the Westchester County Police Revolver and Rifle League, is safe.  “It’s within shooting distance of the middle school playground,” he said.
