2026 Candidate Second Amendment Questionnaire

NYSRPA is asking candidates seeking election to public office to complete and return the NYSRPA 2026 Candidate Second Amendment Questionnaire (click to download) no later than September 25, 2026. Completed questionnaires may be submitted in person, by email to info@nysrpa.org, or by mail to NYSRPA, 713 Columbia Turnpike, East Greenbush, NY 12061. Candidates or campaigns with questions regarding the questionnaire should submit those questions in writing to info@nysrpa.org.

To ensure a fair and consistent process, NYSRPA will consider only completed questionnaires received by the deadline. Any candidate who chooses not to complete and return the questionnaire by September 25, 2026, will receive an automatic “F” rating.

NYSRPA will review all completed questionnaires and assign ratings based on the candidate’s stated positions on the Second Amendment and firearms-related issues. Candidate ratings will be completed and posted on the NYSRPA website by Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
