Remington’s Alabama expansion made official – It’s official: The Remington Outdoor Co. is building a 500,000-sq.-ft. facility in Huntsville, Alabama.  The major gun manufacturer’s expansion will create 2,000 jobs over the next 10 years, according to an announcement from Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley on Monday.  “Today’s announcement will create more than 2,000 jobs in Huntsville, and reflects a statewide capital investment of $110 million,” Bentley said in a statement. “Our relationship with Remington is just beginning, and I look forward to a continued partnership with the company.”
