SAFE Act provision delayed as troopers work to set up system – A provision of the controversial SAFE Act is being delayed. A measure that would have required you to get a background check before you could buy ammunition was supposed to start January 15.  News10NBC is told the cause of the delay is State Police aren’t ready, because they don’t have the system set up.
