Safe Act remains big issue in Catskills, says Lt. Gov. candidate – Opposition to New York’s SAFE Act continues to run high among residents of the Catskills. Republican lieutenant governor candidate Chris Moss, himself a sheriff, learned on Wednesday.  Moss, who is GOP gubernatorial candidate Robert Astorino’s running mate, made campaign stops in Delhi, Roscoe and Kauneonga Lake.  Taxes and mandate relief were also on the mind of those with whom he met.
