Since 1871, our organization has been dedicated to the preservation of Second Amendment rights, firearm safety, education and training, and the shooting sports. SLC Lawmaker Renews Call To Oppose SAFE Act – Republican St. Lawrence County Legislator Joel LaPierre is calling for others on the board to once again stand up against New York’s strict gun control laws.  LaPierre says the SAFE Act, as it’s called, “treats countless New York state law-abiding gun owners as criminals.”  He says he plans to call for repeal of the legislation at Monday night’s county legislature meeting. Ways & Means supports measure to repeal SAFE ACT

Ways & Means supports measure to repeal SAFE ACT – Genesee County Ways & Means Committee approved a resolution Wednesday to support repeal of the state’s gun control law, NY SAFE ACT.  The measure that passed Wednesday was not unexpected.
