However, according to a new proposal from the State Department, distribution of digital blueprints for 3D printable guns may be made illegal. However, Defense Distributed, a group responsible for the 3D printed gun known as the “Liberator,” is fighting back, saying the proposal violates the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.
