Marking more lines on gun control

Marking more lines on gun control – Nearly half the total number of state legislators — 100 senators and members of the Assembly — have signed on to a package of gun control measures designed to make it harder to get assault-style rifles like the ones used in Newtown, Conn. and Webster. All the signatories are Democrats. It’s a partisan show of strength, timed for release as Gov. Andrew Cuomo negotiates with Democrats who dominate the Assembly and Republicans who form the the bulk of a coalition that controls the Senate.
