Republican Onondaga County legislators to NY: Keep our county seal off your Safe Act paperwork – Some Republican Onondaga County legislators want to stop the state from using the official county seal on gun permits or anything else that has to do with the NY Safe Act. Brian May, chairman of the public safety committee, said the Onondaga County Legislature has already voted to oppose the NY Safe Act. This extra step would show that the county does not want to be misrepresented in any communication by the state.
